Is internet marketing easy?
Making money online is more involved today than it used to be. It used to be that making money online was pretty darn easy. It's not that easy anymore. It may just be different than it used to be, not just harder. The average Joe has caught on to the gimick's that just a few years ago worked great. People are just more savvy these days. Do you remember when pop-up windows were such a major hassle? You cant hardly get a toolbar now without it having some sort of popup blocker built into it these days. What was so cleaver about these software makers was that they sold it through affiliate marketers who utilized the annoying pop-up windows to market the pop-up blocker software. I hope those affiliate marketers made enough money to make that worth their wild. I doub't they got much repeat business or conversions on any of their other offers after selling that one. I just want to sing that song, "Isn't it Ironic!"

Honestly, whoever came up with the idea of popup advertising was either a moron, or the implementation of his idea was just never understood by his followers. Without targeting the popup to the customer it sue was a waste. Without thinking about who your customer is, and offering them something that they want, it is a real waste of resources really. They have a few sayings that people use to describe someone who is a real good salesman that goes something like, "that guy could sell a snowball to an eskimo" or "He could sell a glass of water to a drowning man." They have another old saying that goes something like, "and if you believe that I've got some beach front propery in Arizona I could sell you." This one means you are an idiot if you believe something.
You are probably asking yourself what the point of this article is, and the point is simple really. If you try to sell beach front property it better be on the ocean now, and if you got snowballs for sale you may want to market them to people who are hot. All you need to do is remind yourself that people are not stupid. Don't scam people, and sell something to people who are actually interested in buying it. It's not rocket science. It is pretty simple really. If you build a site and target your advertising to the demograophics of that site the money will come. If you build a junk website with junk content and target it to harvard grads and then put ads for teeth whitening all over it I doub't you are going to make much money. Build a site about car insurance, write good content about car insurance, and promote the site to people looking for car insurance and guess what, you will make money, period.
Here are just a few examples of what can be done...The cardio twister store website has targeted a specific piece of exercise equipment. The Davinci Kalani Crib page is sticking to just one area, baby cribs from Davinci Kalani. Try to make your webpage very targeted with a product model like this place has done with the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor is easier to manage and target.
